The soapstone sculpture workshop 

happens in both summer and winter. You experience the real feeling of sculpting when working on the soapstone! The soapstone workshop is also given at Atelierbreda in Breda, in the Beemden, and in The Hague. In the summer we work outside and in the winter we sculpt inside. You will work in a very well-equipped sculpture workshop. Our soapstone workshop gives you the opportunity to make your own sculpture from soapstone in one or two days. You will cut, grate and sand the material in a targeted way and learn the techniques you need to make your design the way you imagined it. It is quite the challenge to convert an image that you have come up with in a short time, into an image in stone. It is intensive work and provides much satisfaction because by the end of the workshop you take a real image home. The Soapstone material is a soft stone that we have in stock and can be bought during the workshop. We guide you with good advice so that you find the best stone to suit your project!

As mentioned, between March and November we work outside as much as possible and then in the winter, we also begin working inside at Atelierbreda, which is well equipped and ventilated.
